A lot of you probably know that we were supposed to have our album launch in Glorietta today but... It didn't really happen.
When I woke up this morning, the first thing that I did was pray for the success of the event. Then I vocalized all throughout my getting-ready-to-go-out-routine (think singing "Dreams Do" while drying my hair or humming "Northbound" with a mouthful of rice) and I didn't stop singing until we left for Glorietta.
Kuya Tim and I went to Glorietta in a cab coz my dad couldn't bring us there and I couldn't drive all the way to Makati. I thought the ride was scary (the driver looked like he was gonna fall asleep anytime and he was really fond of swerving) but nothing prepared me for what was going to happen next.
Kuya Tim and I arrived at the venue earlier than my calltime so we had to wait for a while. After around 30 minutes of staring into space, I suddenly heard something that sounded like thunder. I didn't mind it at first--until people started running out of Glorietta. At this point I kinda got scared. I got even more nervous when the prod team started asking us if we were ready to run. Fortunately, we didn't have to.
To cut a long story short, the explosion caused the launch to be postponed. I think it will be moved to November 16 or 17 and it will definitely not be in Glorietta this time. I heard that the prod team has been eyeing Trinoma but I'm really not sure about that.
This event was a big inconvenience for everybody (especially the prod team coz they lost so much money) but I believe that God allowed it to happen for a reason. At least I'll have more time to prepare and, of course, promote the event--which is actually what this whole entry is all about.
Just kidding. Hehe. But I'll do it anyway.

Please come to the Soloista album launch which MIGHT be on November 16 or 17 at Trinoma. It's gonna be an EXPLOSIVE event! Hehe. It would also be good if you can get a copy of the album.
See you there!
Oh, and in case you guys are wondering, I am still in one piece.
